How are your snacks shipped?
We ship all of our snacks with our in-city courier, Canada Post, Fed X or UPS. Almost all of our shipments are by Ground, 1 week, 2-3 Days, Priority Overnight, Standard Overnight, as well as truck shipments for large corporate gift basket orders. Our snacks are always sealed for safety.
How much is delivery?
We ship our snacks needing delivery within 24 hrs/ same day, with flat rates with our in-city courier as follows below.

Are your delivery times guaranteed?
Yes! Our courier deliveries are guaranteed for Calgary the same day. (Orders Placed Before 11AM) We do not guarantee specific times for deliveries throughout the day, but will request the customer’s preferred delivery time to the courier company who will do their best to accommodate. Surrounding areas, Canada and International and can be delivered the following day (24hr notice required prior to delivery date expected.), 5 Business days, 2-3 Days, Overnight and Saturdays. If our courier misses the delivery then we will refund the shipping on your gift. If the recipient is not home and our courier was unable to deliver the package or leave it in a safe place, this does not qualify as a missed delivery.
Circumstances such as severe weather, natural disasters, and so on void the delivery guarantee. We are fair and reasonable with our shipping refunds and expect that you are the same. Troubles with shipping are a very infrequent event with our expert courier service. The only scheduled exception for guaranteed delivery is the few weeks during the Christmas Gifts season, where packages are occasionally delayed but almost always still arrive at a later time on the requested delivery date.
Do you ship the same day?
Yes! On Mon-Friday we take orders to ship the same day until 11 AM, as our last courier pick up is at 1PM. During the week of a major holiday, we often extend our delivery times and frequency. We have special arrangements with the courier to make late pickup’s or allow us to make late drop off’s if the situation arises.
What if we get an incorrect or incomplete address?
Unfortunately, our courier charges us a flat $10 fee to return the package, which we must in turn charge you. Once a package with an incorrect or incomplete address has left us there is little we can do. If caught in time, our courier may be able to reroute the package to the proper address for no additional fee, but this is not always successful.
Our courier almost always calls us to tell us that there is a problem delivering the package. In these rare instances, we ask for your patience and promise in return to do everything in our power to make sure your gift basket arrives in perfect condition and as soon as humanly possible.
Do recipients have to be present to receive their snacks?
It is up to the discretion of the individual courier delivery driver. If the package can be safely left then they are instructed to do so, that way the recipient will receive their gift on the day it was intended. If they cannot leave the package in a secure location the driver will have to come back later, and very often it is on the same day.
Substitution and exchange Policy
For a number of reasons, we will occasionally run out of a specific item (that is usually on the way), but sometimes there are additional delays from vendors. If this situation occurs, we reserve the right to substitute a product of equal or greater value. If you are unhappy with the snack of choice, reach out to our support team who will be happy to exchange the product for you.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Our products are well packaged, so they arrive on your doorstep as beautifully as it was when it left ours. If an item does arrive damaged or with items missing, please notify us within 3 days. We’re happy to send you replacement items. Missing items may have been substituted.
We offer a 7-day return policy on shelf-stable item purchases. We will refund your order total, less shipping and handling each way. Please be mindful of the following details about returns: For free shipping items, our delivery costs will be deducted from your total refund. Orders cannot be canceled once it has shipped. Items that are returned must be in new condition and in the original packaging.
Security – Your privacy is important to us. The personal information you enter on the Merchant Link Pages, such as credit card, name, phone number, email and mailing address, are protected. Personal Information – This site may request personally identifiable data from you (“personal information”), Which may include your email address, and other personal information such as your address, telephone number, etc., and in the case of online giving, credit card number and expiration date.
In addition, our web server may automatically recognize and store your email address or the email address of those who communicate with us via email. The Nut Man endeavours to do its best to protect the privacy of your personal information and will not use this information except in connection with your use of this web site and for the development of the website so that we can provide you with the highest quality of services.
